We started packing a couple weeks ago... just in case. We just tossed in clothes we would potentially bring in our suitcases one afternoon. We left it at that. We packed the boxes of diapers, wipes and formula. We know we can buy stuff like the diapers and wipes, but it's not home so we don't know. We'll let you know how it all turns out.
We borrowed three large suitcases from my folks to use for the baby stuff. We started to pack those last week. We thought we could fit it all in one and then use two of our small ones. That would be two boxes, two smaller suitcases and one large one. We figured out later that we can pack our clothes and things with the baby stuff in two of the larger suitcases. Scott added one of the smaller carry-on type suitcases this afternoon. So, two boxes, two large suitcases and one carry-on suitcase. We are going for about three weeks to a month so we don't know for sure what to bring. We will apparently have a washer/dryer where we will be staying in Mexico City. We'll find out how it all goes!
It's crazy!!! It's almost here! We can't wait! We are STILL figuring out names. There is one for sure on the boy list and there are another five names for the second boy name. The girls name list on the other hand is out of control. We can not for the life of us figure out any girl names we really really like! I should say girls names we can agree on. So that is still a on-going discussion. Really really.
I can barely concentrate!
There's so much to do before we go it's off the hook. We have to make sure we have everything we need.
Folks at work have been asking about logistics like are we bringing car seats? No. Our coordinators are providing us with car seats, stroller, play pen with changing table and bath tub for infants. I think I might be forgetting something else but I can't remember right now. I've been up since 1am! Will someone else be picking us up from the airport when we finally get back home? No. We have a way where we can park at the airport. We got a hook-up hahahaha! Where are we staying? Staying at a couple different hotels. One at Villahermosa and a hotel studio apartment type while in Mexico City. I can't remember the name off the top of my head but once we're there, hopefully one of us will be able to update this blog so you can all plan ahead.
We have another ultrasound appointment tomorrow morning (Tuesday). We leave Wednesday, arrive in Villahermosa in the evening and a C-Section is scheduled for sometime on Friday. Friday!!!
F R I D A Y!! That's basically three days away. CRAZY!
I'll try to update this tomorrow in between things with the latest numbers.
